If you're one of the people that think that Italian folks only eat Pizza and Pasta than you are totally wrong. Of course, these dishes are very common in Italy and therefore also in its capital, Rome, but there are plenty of other Italia delicacies. Coda alla vaccianara, for example, is awfully famous: calf's tail cooked in vine with tomatoes and pepper. Abbacchio alla scottadito; lamb chops which are eaten with your hands and tempered with pepper and salt, are also an extremely well-liked standard dish. This last example is typical of Roman food even though you may find it in other areas of the country. So there you have it ; pizza and pasta aren't Italy's only tasty creations.
